First of all please accept my heartsinking apology for not using chinese as I don't really know how to use it on computer. Secondly I hope to thank you to all of you in sharing your gratitude and memories with me that have once again in my life proved to me how lucky I was to be an Educational Psychology student at Normal University.

I entered the Department of Educational Psychology in 1979 and finished my study in 1983. As much as all of you have described in your memories, dear Mr. Lu had impressed me as an extraordinary warm and enthusiatic lecturer in teaching psychological testing. I have nearly no understanding of his accent as I came from Hong Kong to study. However my life long interest in psychological testing and psychology have been planted strongly by his facinated commitmmet in this aspect. I remembered sometimes during his class my heart was so moved by his genuine personality while at the same time feeling shameful of myself not being able to grasp even one sparkle from his wisdom and knowledge. I always asked myself quietly "How could he do it?" while watching his nearly non-stopped handwriting on the board.

Nearly twenty years had gone and I'm still keeping his notes. I always believe that it's a big treasure only that I was not able to open it at that time. It's like a keepsake that one will hold on to it to keep life goes on. Even I had continued studying psychology in other places after graduation but his note has its own meaning to me. And now that I may understand I need lots of encouragement and faith to carry my job, and with his love in psychology and his nuturing attitude to students have been a guiding light on me.

I have never failed my commitment to be a psychologist since the day one I entered the Educational Psychology Department in 1979. Since then I have been a psychologist for 15 years and am now still working as a clinical psychologist in New Zealand. When I read the interview of dear Mr. Lu on the mail from one of you, all he said was so true and valid to me. He is so intelligent and honest in his study of psychology. Just feeling the same as you do, I believe that we are all proud to be his student. I hope he could have knew that his students have followed his footsteps, and which has again proved that his effort and love had never been failed.

I wish we all rememeber his great work on us and let his spirit to continue to be our guilding light in our profession as well as the integrity as a person.
